The Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF) is hosting their annual “Dream Halloween” event this Saturday, October 18th. “Dream Halloween” is a fun-filled evening of Halloween fun for children and families which includes live entertainment, costumed characters, games, giveaways, and food and beverages.
There are still many things that you can assist with in the days leading up to the actual event! Volunteers are asked to work 3-hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The event will be held at the Windy City Fieldhouse (2367 W. Logan Blvd) and all pre-event shifts will be there as well. If you’re interested, please head on over to www.caaf.org or call the Chicago volunteer hotline (312) 409-1210.
I will be there Thursday evening, Friday afternoon, and working the actual event on Saturday. I haven’t been in the whole Halloween spirit since college, but I think that this weekend will do me some good! From what I hear, the children are so excited and happy to be there and everyone has a great time. Sounds like my kind of place
