While checking my email last night, I received a notice from ThisNext about a LA organization dedicated to providing prom dresses for area teens who can’t afford a gown for their special night. LA’s Prom Closet not only provides gowns, they also host workshops on etiquette, self-esteem, and makeup application for the young ladies! If you don’t have any gowns to donate, consider another in-kind donation (i.e. tailoring services, a steamer, etc) or a monetary gift. If you’re not LA, no fears! You can check out DonateMyDress.org to find similar organizations and prom dress drives in your state! 

BONUS: Saks Fifth Avenue is hosting a dress drive in their stores until March 31st. When you bring in a gown or special occasion dress, they will give you 20% off a new one. Nice!
