KAI Collections Supports Some Brave African Girls

When I was in high school, I did a research paper on the horrors of Female Genital Mutilation. Young African girls (as young as 9) are sometimes subjected to the act as a right of passage. The gruesome act not only inflicts pain on the girls at that momemt, but as they grow up, there are often many complications and infections from the procedure. Turn Your Living Space Into A Giving Space

On most days, there is no place that I’d rather be than my house. I can still remember marching as a child through my old neighborhood. The excitement as my mother [...]

Children and parents have access to 32 clubs across the city. Organizations like these are so important because children need safe play havens to learn, socialize, and just be young! On Friday, August 7th, the Good Glam Gala will combine fashion, shopping and philanthropy as the event raised money for [...]

The Great Denim Event

Thanks to Luvvie’s recent Born to Fit event, I am now the recipient of a new pair of great jeans. In true giving fashion, I should ask myself if there is an old pair that I now don’t need. If you have some too small/too big denim that you no longer want, then The Shops at North Bridge (520 N. Michigan Ave) want you to bring them downtown. From now until August 13th, when you [...]
