UGGs for Your Little “Wild Things”

UGG Australia has teamed up with Warner Bros. to help promote “Where The Wild Things Are” by creating a small line of limited-edition boots for children. What’s even better than the supercute designs is the fact that a portion of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The styles are available in the NYC flagship store or online at www.uggaustralia.com. So cute! -kb

DJ C-Lo Celebrates “A Night of Fame”

I love birthdays and I love when people commemorate their special day with some kind of charitable/kind act. So, you guys can imagine how excited I was to hear about DJ C-Lo’s “A Night of Fame” birthday bash and benefit being held TONIGHT (11/6) at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN. Not only is DJ C-Lo one of Nashville’s top DJs but he is now serving as a spokesperson for Soles 4 [...]

Rihanna and Mariah Speak About Abuse

I was very touched by the strength yet vulnerability shown by Rihanna and am looking forward to her full interview tomorrow night on 20/20. She’s sharing her story to help other young girls who may be in the same situation and I admire her for that. Also, speaking up and out [...]

Cocktail at Kimpton and Fight AIDS

Kimpton Hotels is no stranger to my site as they are always doing something great to support one of many causes. During the month of November, you can enjoy “Cocktails for a Cure” at any Kimpton restaurant or lounge. When you purchase one of the amazing featured cocktails, Kimpton will donate $1 for each drink to one of their 2009 Red Ribbon Beneficiaries (listed below). AIDSCare (Chicago) AIDS Project Los Angeles (Los Angeles) AIDS Walk San Diego [...]

Louis Vuitton and The Red Cross

Louis Vuitton is celebrating the American Red Cross‘ 150th birthday in serious style. During the entire month of November, Louis V will donate 10% of online sales of the following four handbags to the organization! Not that I know everything, but I didn’t know the two entities were linked as such. Regardless, it is a very cool partnership which will work out for our LV and The Red Cross. -kb
