Common and Friends Come Together For Urban Youth

  On Saturday, September 27th, Common will round up some of his celebrity friends for the first annual “Start the Show N’ Bowl” benefit hosted by the Common Ground Foundation. The Sephora Project Helps Girls Change the World

Sephora recently launched their philanthropic initiative, The Sephora Project, by partnering with Girls for A Change (GFC). Girls for A Change is a “national organization that empowers girls to create social change,” with a focus on girls who live in low-income communities. Benefit Social Tuesdays

  Head on over to Between Boutique Cafe and Lounge on Tuesday, 9/30, and 10/1, and help raise money for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Chicago Fashion Foundation networking event

Tonight, the Chicago Fashion Foundation will host its Annual Membership party at the W Lakeshore (644 N. Lake Shore Drive). The event will last from 6-8p and take place in Altitudes on the 33rd floor. Attendees will hear about the plans for Fashion Focus 2008 (Chicago’s Fashion Week), the 2009 CFF scholarship benefit and much more!  The event is free for current members and $10 for non-members. "Silhouettes" Fashion Show to Benefit Rush Medical Center

There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned fashion show to raise funds for a medical center. 5th Annual Wine Event for Reach Out Foundation

Reach Out will host its 5th Annual Wine Event on Thursday, September 11th at Orso’s restaurant (1401 N. Wells). The event, which will last from 7-10p, will raise funds in support of nonprofit organizations who assist and support victims and families of domestic violence. Lauren Conrad Partners with Mark Cosmetics

  LC (or Lauren Conrad), from The Hills, is giving back with a charity necklace to help young women.
