A great supporter of Indego Africa, fashion designer Nicole Miller recently added some ready-to-wear pieces to her current collection which benefits the nonprofit and its programs. Indego Africa empowers African women to lift their families out of poverty through fair trade partnerships, international export market access, and the development of long-term skills.
The women create beautiful home decor (like these cute wine bags) and accessories which can be purchased at retailers such as Anthropologie, ShopBop.com, Bikram NYC and more. 100% of the profits from all merchandise sold online and in-store benefits the women directly. Nicole Miller teamed up with the organization last September to create a line of accessories. This time around, she’s added some very cute shorts and sarongs to the line of textile bracelets. I went on her site this morning and the chic shorts were all sold out and had a wait time of two weeks. Whomp.
Here’s a peek at some of the items…15% of proceeds from this collection will go to Indego Africa. You can find the rest on the Nicole Miller site.
Fashion + Philanthropy is always a good look to me, especially when the philanthropy empowers women and helps build a better future for our families!
