In March 2009, The Red Pump Project was launched to help bring awareness to the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. On March 10, 2009, 125 female-authored blogs “Rocked the Red Pump” on their sites and helped to spread the message of prevention and education. We continue to spread support the HIV/AIDS community via nationwide ambassadors who serve their communities and help bring us one step closer to a world without AIDS.

As we met more and more individuals, we kept hearing, “What are you doing to educate males about HIV/AIDS?”
Very good question. Last month, The Red Tie Project was launched last month. Much like The Red Pump Project, this website will serve as a resource for local and national news and discussions related to HIV/AIDS but from a male perspective.
